Demetrios Christodoulou

Demetrios Christodoulou has been Professor of Mathematics and Physics at the ETH Zurich 2001-2017, where since 2017 he is Emeritus Professor.

He studied physics at Princeton University, where he received his PhD in 1971. After that he turned to mathematics, becoming Professor of Mathematics, first 1985-1987 at Syracuse University in the State of New York, then
1988-1992 at the Courant Institute of New York University, and in the period 1992-2001 at Princeton University, a position which he held until his move to Zurich.

He has been awarded the MacArthur Fellows Award (1993) for his work in mathematics and physics, the Bocher
Memorial Prize of the American Mathematical Society (1999), the Shaw Prize (Hong Kong) in Mathematical Science (2011), and the Henri Poincare Prize of the International Association of Mathematical Physics (2021). He is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the US National Academy of Sciences, and the Academia Europaea.

George P Chrousos

George P Chrousos is a pediatrician, endocrinologist, neurobiologist and one of the world’s foremost medical clinical researchers. He is Professor Emeritus of Pediatrics and Endocrinology of the Faculty of Medicine of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and Director of the University Research Institute of Maternal and Child Health & Precision Medicine. He holds the UNESCO Chair in Adolescent Health Care.

He is one of the 250 most highly cited scientists internationally (ISI highly cited), included not only in the list of Clinical Medicine, but also in that of Biology and Biochemistry, and the most highly cited clinical pediatrician or endocrinologist in the world.

He is currently a member of the Supreme Council of the National Authority on Higher Education in Greece.

Aristeidis Agathoklis

Aristeidis Agathoklis joined the Greek diplomatic service in 1974 serving in the central service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (NATO Directorate). From 1980 to 1985 he was the Secretary of the Permanent Representation of Greece in the European Economic Community (Brussels).

He served as Consul General in Hong Kong and Deputy Chief of Mission of the European Community Monitor Mission in former Yugoslavia. From 1994 to 1998 he was a member of the Greek delegation to the European Councils at Essen, Cannes, Madrid, Florence, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Cardiff and Vienna. In 1999 he served in the European Affairs Office as Director in the diplomatic office of the then Minister of Foreign Affairs. From 2000 to 2003 he was the Permanent Representative of Greece to the EU.

From 2003 to 2005 he was the Ambassador of Greece in Spain and one year later, he served as a Special Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs. He completed his career as Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2007-2008.

Harris Antoniou is the founder and CEO of Neptune Maritime Leasing Ltd, of which the Latsco Family Office is a major shareholder. He is also the Managing Director of Neptune International AG, focusing on transformative investments and advice in the fields of Real Assets, Technology and Financial Services. He is an investor and member of the board of Natech SA Financial Services. He is a former CEO of Amsterdam Trade Bank, and he has held management positions at leading institutions for the last 25 years, having served as President & CEO at AMCI Group with investments in raw materials, goods and shipping and as the Managing Director, Energy, Commodities & Transportation at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. Recently, as a partner and board member of Advent Technologies Inc., he contributed to the raising of private equities and the listing of the company on the Nasdaq. He was one of the first signatories of the Poseidon Principles, a supporter of United World Colleges in the Netherlands, and member of Abundance 360.
