Professor Nikolaos G. Travlos specializes in the fields of Corporate Finance, Financial Analysis, Financial Markets, Banking, and Mergers and Acquisitions.

He has taught at Boston College, City University of New York (Baruch College), New York University (L. Stern School of Business), and the University of Piraeus, where he served as Chairman of the Department of Banking and Financial Management and Director of the Master’s Program in Finance.

Additionally, he held the position of Distinguished Senior Research Fellow at Cardiff Business School (U.K.). He served as Dean at Alba Graduate Business School, The American College of Greece (1998-2016). Currently, he holds the Kitty Kyriacopoulos Chair in Finance at Alba Graduate Business School and the Chair of Finance at Surrey Business School. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Athens International Airport S.A., Vice President of Transparency International-Greece, and a Member of ActionAid Hellas.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of Unibios S.A. and the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (IOBE).
