Greeks of the Diaspora

The third major initiative of the Komvos is the utilization of the diaspora. In contrast to organizations that focus on repatriating expatriates to strengthen the domestic labor market and research – undoubtedly an important need – the goal of the Komvos is to harness the strengths of Hellenism, wherever they may be.

The collaboration between Greeks in the country and the diaspora is at the heart of the Komvos’ policy.

The  event by Komvos was hosted at the Greek Embassy in Paris and organized in collaboration with the ARISTEiA Institute of the USA, the Hellenic Cultural Center in Paris, and the World Human Forum.

Komvos welcomed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ initiative for a public dialogue regarding the key pillars of a strategic plan for Greeks of the Diaspora.
