Ai’nclusion: Artificial Intelligence without exclusions
An initiative aimed at ensuring that the digital transition into the age of AI takes place with social justice, equality, and participation for all.
An initiative for a fair, human-centred, and inclusive digital transition.
What is the AI’nclusion initiative?
The AI’nclusion initiative is an innovative project aimed at identifying and removing barriers to Artificial Intelligence, ensuring that no one is left behind in the digital era.
It focuses on productive exclusion (work, education, innovation) and functional exclusion (access to services such as gov.gr, e-banking, healthcare).
Objectives of the Initiative
Mapping barriers and inequalities in access to AI.
Participatory design of policy solutions with the citizens themselves.
Empowering vulnerable social groups with tools and skills.
Building trust and social cohesion around the digital transition.
Action Pillars
AI’nclusion is implemented through 5 main pillars:
Diagnosis & Documentation – Research, data, and best practices.
Participation & Co-creation – Workshops with citizens, educators, and organizations.
Policy & Institutional Empowerment – Policy proposals and institutional safeguards.
Education & Technological Empowerment – Digital literacy programs for all.
Public Dialogue & Outreach – Events, campaigns, and an ambassador network.
Who Is at Risk of Being Left Behind
AI’nclusion gives voice and opportunities to groups that are often excluded:
Young people and adults without access to technologies or skills.
Elderly individuals with low familiarity in using digital services.
Residents of rural or isolated areas with limited connectivity.
Migrants, refugees, and people with disabilities facing language or technological barriers.
Women and girls in underrepresented technology fields.
Our Innovation
We approach access to AI as a fundamental social right.
We connect AI with democracy, participation, and social cohesion.
We bring together citizens, scientists, businesses, and institutions in a shared dialogue.
We make Greece an example of human-centered digital transition.
Partnerships & Support
The project is implemented by Komvos – Networks of Global Hellenism, in collaboration with academics, organisations, and strategic partners.
Panteion University – Under the scientific guidance of Professor Konstantinos Karpouzis, research is being designed which, among other objectives, aims to analyse the social consequences and forms of bias associated with AI systems.

Ai’nclusion Education – In collaboration with MIT, Komvos has launched a series of workshops and seminars on training educators in artificial intelligence and AI literacy for students.
The training is based on material developed by MIT RAISE in collaboration with the i2 Learning Foundation.
