‘Greek households facing modern economic challenges’ was the subject of an event organised by KOMVOS-NODE – Networks of Global Hellenism, sponsored by Accenture Greece.
Some of the issues that were addressed during the event, which was organised by Pr. Michael Haliassos, are:
- the economic challenges Greek households are facing today,
- the study of their financial behaviour and
- the exploitation of the opportunities of the present and the future.
The event took place on Wednesday 1 November 2023, 18:00-20:00, at the Hermes Hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, 7, Akademias Street, in the centre of Athens.
The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sofia Efraimoglou addressed greetings to the speakers and the audience.

The event was presented by journalist Anna Grimani, founding member of Komvos-Node.
The speeches were followed by a discussion under the title of: “To what extent are Greek households ready to face the economic challenges and opportunities of the future?”, with the participation of the Deputy Minister and the speakers.
The debate was moderated by Kathimerini newspaper journalist Vassilis Kostoulas.
