Dr. Evangelos Eleftheriou is an electrical engineer. He is an IBM Fellow and Head of the Cloud and Computing Infrastructure department at IBM Research – Zurich laboratory in Rüschlikon, Switzerland. He is also the leader of the Memory and Cognitive Technologies team within the same department. His research interests include signal processing and coding, solid-state memories and storage, and storage for big data. Recently, he has expanded his research interests to emerging computing paradigms, such as neuromorphic computing and in-memory computing for artificial intelligence applications.
