Konstantinos Drosatos holds the “Ohio Eminent Scholar” Chair and is a Professor of Pharmacology and Systems Physiology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.

He is a visiting professor at the UCLA Center for Systems Biomedicine and a visiting professor at the University of Crete Medical School (Greece). He has been awarded the distinction of Outstanding New Investigator by the American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiovascular Sciences Council. He is a co-founder and has served as president of the World Hellenic Biomedical Organization in the USA and the Hellenic Bioscientists Association of the USA. He is Vice President of the Institute for the Advancement of Research and Education in Arts, Sciences, and Technology (ARISTEiA) and the elected president of the Mid-Career Researchers Committee of the American branch of the International Society for Heart Research (ISHR-NAS).

He has founded international educational programs for undergraduate and graduate students that focus on interdisciplinary approaches to addressing health issues and the environmental crisis.
