A study conducted by the ARISTEiA Institute of the United States highlighted the global contribution of Greeks to medicine, biosciences, and biotechnology from 1821 to 2021. However, the same research found that only one out of eight Greeks carried out their work in Greece. The rest implemented their projects in organizations and systems outside of Greece. 

This issue is addressed in an article, published in Kathimerini newspaper by the President of the Institute and Secretary General of Komvos-Node, Professor Kostas Drosatos. He proposes taking initiatives to formulate a national strategy for the creation of a society of innovation that will help the country avoid missing out on the upcoming 5th Industrial Revolution.
