Alekos Kritikos has worked for many years in Brussels as a senior executive in the European Commission and at the Permanent Greek Representation to the EU.

He has also held senior positions in the public sector in Greece, including General Secretary at the Ministries of Interior and Development, Governor of Attica, and President of the Deposit and Loan Fund. He has also worked in the private sector, dealing with the management of European programs, as well as in the banking sector, primarily focusing on financing development programs from international banking organizations. He is currently a Senior Advisor at ELIAMEP.

He is a graduate Architect Engineer from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and holds a D.E.A. in Regional Planning from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
