Komvos-Node is a Non-Profit Civil Partenership, whose successful operation will be judged by its ability to mobilize both financial and human resources, with a particular emphasis on the invaluable human capital of its members.
The financial resources of the Organization will derive from activities such as:
- Member Contributions, Donations from third parties and members in cash and kind, donations from supporters or sponsors, inheritances or bequests, all kinds of subsidies and funding from local authorities, the state, national, European, or international governmental or private organizations and businesses.
- Fees from research, from participation in the Implementation of programs by national, European, and international organizations, co-financed or not by the European Union, as well as participation in other programs from countries outside the European Union.
- Revenue from other activities of the organization related to achieving its objectives (e.g., events, allocation of a predetermined share from any surplus and profits of other entities to which it has significantly and measurably contributed, etc.).
- Revenue from the creation of physical spaces (Thematic Science and Technology Park) for hosting, research, and common activities among various entities, as well as the creation of clusters, where various individuals, collectives, or organizations can coexist and establish new companies with similar purposes within the framework of joint actions.
- The Development and Publication of Studies and Scientific Papers on issues concerning the organization’s activities.
Regarding its revenues, Komvos-Node will operate under private economic criteria. The above activities will generate income that, although not for distribution, will be an important source of funding for activities related to Komvos-Node’s objectives.
