Yannis Manuelides works in London. He is a graduate of Princeton University (AB Philosophy, 1980), the University of Chicago (MA Philosophy, 1983), and the University of Cambridge (BA Law, 1985). He is a member of the English Bar and a former member of the Paris Bar.

With 30 years of experience in sovereign debt financing (six of which were in France), he manages sovereign debt financings. Yiannis contributes to current discussions on sovereign and banking debt through advisory roles, participation in special committees, lectures, and articles. He is a member of the Advisory Council of the Centre of Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary, University of London, a member of the Board of Trustees of the College of Athens, a trustee of the Hellenic Foundation, an Overseer of the Gennadius Library, a member of the Council of the Anglo-Hellenic League, and a member of the Sovereign Debt Working Groups of the International Law Association, the Institute of International Finance, and the Financial Markets Law Committee.
