ENNOIA Rewards Innovative Ideas for Financial Empowerment

For the second consecutive year, the ENNOIA initiative recognised innovative ideas that turn financial knowledge into practical tools for everyday life. The Special Financial Empowerment Awards were presented as part of the 16th NBG Business Seeds Innovation and Technology Competition, highlighting solutions that support better-informed financial choices and strengthen financial resilience.

The awards form part of ENNOIA’s Innovation pillar, linking financial literacy with technology and start-up entrepreneurship. The objective is to support the development of applications and services that help citizens better understand their financial decisions and manage their available resources more effectively.

This Year’s ENNOIA Awards

The first Special Financial Empowerment Award, accompanied by a €4,000 cash prize, was presented to SplitSave App, which automates price comparisons across supermarket chains with online stores. The application provides a practical tool for gaining better control over everyday consumer spending.

The second award, accompanied by a €2,000 cash prize, went to InvestPlay, an educational digital investment simulation application for young people. In a safe learning environment, users can become familiar with key concepts, choices and risks involved in the investment process.

The Other NBG Business Seeds Awards

At the 16th NBG Business Seeds awards ceremony, a total of twelve innovative companies and teams were recognised from among 344 entries. The competition’s three main awards went to MammoCheck, Tinkery and Steganomos, while the Special Property Technology Award was presented to Scoopterra.

Building on a Continuing Initiative

his year’s awards build on the first ENNOIA distinctions presented in 2025. The first Special Financial Literacy Award went to Wealthyhood, which combines investment education with savings and financial planning tools, while the second was awarded to Ergo Academy, which develops educational content and digital tools for financial empowerment.

The continuation of the awards for a second year reflects the gradual development of an ecosystem of innovative solutions centred on financial knowledge. It also strengthens the connection between research and education and applications that address the real needs of households and young people
