Dr. Stamatios Krimigis is Emeritus Head of Space Exploration at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU/APL) and Principal Investigator on NASA’s Voyager 1&2 spacecraft. He is a Full Member of the Academy of Athens and President (2024) and former National Representative of Greece to the European Space Agency (ESA) (2006-2010), as well as former President of the National Council for Research & Technology (2010-2013).
