Efstratios Patsouris is an Emeritus Professor of Medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). He is Honorary President of the University Research Institute for the Study and Treatment of Genetic and Malignant Disorders in Childhood, and has served as Director of the 1st Department of Pathology at the NKUA Medical School, as well as Dean of the School of Health Sciences at NKUA. He is also Director and Chairman of the Board of the University Research Institute of Mental Health, Neurosciences and Precision Medicine “Costas Stefanis” (EPIPSY), and Chair of the Scientific Committee of the Papanikolaou Institute. He previously served as Vice Dean of the Medical School (2011–2013) and as Dean of the School of Health Sciences (2014–2018) at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
