In the session “Shipping, Ferry Services and the Green Transition” at the 3rd Annual Komvos Conference, participants discussed the challenges and opportunities for Greek shipping within the ESG framework, focusing on fleet renewal, the development of the shipbuilding industry, green ports, and emerging technologies.
Professor Sotirios Theofanis, Founding Member of Komvos, was recently appointed as a member of the “Standing Committee on Port Operations and Infrastructure” (AW011) of the Transportation Research Board (TRB), which is part of the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NAS).
