With a clear message of proactivity and continuity, the 3rd Working Conference of Komvos commenced. Anna Grimani, Founding Member of Komvos, opened the event as moderator, emphasizing that it serves as a space for dialogue and collaboration among scientists, entrepreneurs, and institutional stakeholders, and invited the Vice President of Komvos, Professor Michael Haliassos, to the stage. As the organizer of the Conference, Prof. Haliassos inaugurated the proceedings, highlighting that Komvos does not operate as a traditional think tank, but as an organization charting a course of action with real impact on society and the economy.

In his speech, Professor Haliassos highlighted the institutional partners who consistently support Komvos’ work. The National Bank of Greece and Piraeus Bank serve as the primary financial pillars, while organizations such as Accenture Greece, Ecovis OneTax, Informal Advertising, DEMO SA, Natech Banking Solutions, and Deloitte also make significant contributions.
The main initiatives shaping Komvos’ work were also presented:

– As well as efforts focusing on Global Hellenism as a unified space for research and knowledge.
As Professor Haliassos emphasized, Komvos is not limited to organizing conferences. Its objective is the implementation of initiatives with tangible and measurable impact, which continuously evolve and are enriched through new collaborations. In this context, he extended an invitation to organizations and stakeholders interested in contributing to the co-creation and development of Komvos’ initiatives.
In closing, he highlighted the importance of dialogue with the State—a point underscored by the participation of three Ministers in this year’s conference. He noted that government policy is a decisive factor in achieving the objectives presented this year.
